FEATURES of the ECM² E-Alert E-ALERT provides subscribers real time alerts from FEMA, NOAA and 911 centers via either SMS or MMS directly to their cell phones. Alert messages can be configured for text to speech and an audio file can be delivered via MMS to the cell phone for playback. Single and group subscriber packages will be available The single subscriber package routes all messages to a single cell phone and/or email address. The group subscriber packages allow for multiple devices and email addresses. A secure web based Silverlight application will be available to subscribers as an advanced package option. The benefit to the 911 center is reducing the amount of bandwidth and infrastructure required to implement Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) / Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) compliance. Recipient types include but are not limited to: First Responders Firemen Police officers EMS technicians Government officials Civilians 911CAP is linked directly to the 911 center’s CAD and is completely customizable to meet the 911 center’s needs; from alert notification layout and design, to security compliance issues.
